How Does BodyTite Work?
BodyTite uses a small, thin cannula inserted just under the skin to deliver gentle, warming RF (radio frequency) energy to the targeted area. This RF energy causes the skin tissue to contract and tighten, while also providing a small reduction in fat cells.
Before your treatment begins, we'll numb the treatment area with a tumescent solution to ensure complete comfort. A small incision is made to place the RF cannula under the skin. The RF energy will apply controlled heat to the fat and deep skin tissue safely and effectively without harming the surrounding tissue. You should expect to have some slight soreness, swelling and bruising for up to about 14 days as you recover. Many patients can see improvements in as little as four weeks, with optimal outcomes usually observed at 3 – 6 months as the body naturally removes the remaining treated fat cells and the skin produces more collagen and elastin.
